I am looking for an Ypsilanti t-shirt to send to a friend. Something that says "Ypsilanti" or "Ypsi" on it. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Either online or brick/mortar shopping is fine.

  1.

I think that the Rocket has some shirts like that.

I'll second the Rocket for such shirts. Last time I was there they had a few varieties of Ypsi-themed shirt.

Might as well check out VGkids while you're on Michigan Ave. They might have some offerings as well.

Both The Rocket and VG Kids carry a good selection of Ypsi merch. I believe both carry Ypsipanties, in addition to t-shirts, depending on what your relationship with your friend in like...

I believe VG Kids prints the tees carried by the Rocket, in fact, in addition to, of course, the ones they sell themselves.

I know the Elbow Room sells t-shirts that say The Elbow Room, Ypsilanti (and they're getting new, nicer ones in today).

Oh yeah, and here's the URL for Think Local. They make shirts that say "Keep Ypsilanti Real".

They have those in stock at the Ypsi Food Coop on River Street -- Also the TLF shirts that say "Keep Ann Arbor Funky"... but I think it's too late for that...

Nelson Amos also has a nice Depot Town t-shirt from one of his oil paintings. I'm not sure if Aubree's sells the "Getting Tipsy in Ypsi" shirts.

Isn't X-Press Printing on N Washington still offering their "ip'se lan'te" pronunciation guide t-shirt? (Not to be confused with the CafePress knockoff.)

My wife and I make "Iggy Pop is from Ypsi" shirts, as well as ones that say "Buy Indie in Ypsi." I'm ashamed to say that we're also responsible for "Ypsipanties." They're all printed by VG Kids and they're all available at their store on Michigan Avenue, across from Bombadil's.
