A while back, Fast Eddie's Music at 203 West Michigan Avenue had a sign in their front window asking for ideas about places to move.

Turns out they are indeed moving - and this month. But not far—just across the street from its current location.

So, those of you who are patrons there, or are interested in checking it out, please note that he's doing a bit of back-and-forth between the two storefronts at the moment.

I for one, am glad that he was able to find a location, and that we were able to keep a business in downtown Ypsi!

Always a good place for fast music supplies before a show. He's almost always next door, but that his hours great.

    Good old gear for cheap.

    It's the anti-Guitar Center.

    Totally.

We walk by there every day with the dogs, and in the afternoon, there's always the sign in the window that says:

I'm at TC's, three doors that way --->

Glad to still have him around!

  1.

Is it true that fast eddie's was forced to move because the Tap Room wants to connect it's bar with the annex?

That's what I have heard, but I have not confirmed it. I saw him today, but if I see him again soon, I will introduce myself and ask him if that's true.

For what it's worth, it appears that they are doing some pretty serious renovation work on the second floor of the Tap Room. Not sure what that's all about.
