Make a Box Full of Love at Our Housing Crisis Center!

When: Saturday, February 10, 2-4pm

Where: The SOS Housing Crisis Center, 114 North River Street, Ypsilanti, MI 48198

What: We will be making "Boxes of Love" to hand out to those in need over Valentine's Day. Boxes of love are bags or boxes filled with needed (and fun!) items and decorated with a Valentine's theme. Bring full size bars of soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion and other personal care items, chocolates and bags or boxes to decorate and put the items in. Some of these items will be supplied, but the more you bring, the more boxes and bags we can make!

Why: The boxes and bags will be distributed to those in need at the SOS Family Shelter, Transitional Housing Program, and at our Housing Crisis Center during the week of Valentine's Day. Personal care items are always needed by those of limited income, and chocolate is a nice treat!
