If want to hear some great music, check out Planned Parenthood's "Get Down for Choice" - tonight at the Corner Brewery.
Music is provided by DJ's Chuck Sipperley and Ann Arbor Soul Club's Robert Wells.
Robert says:
Please join us this Saturday for the "Get Down For Choice" party at the Corner Brewery in Ypsilanti, from 7:30-11:30 pm. The party shall celebrate the 34th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, and is sponsored by the Washtenaw Coalition for Choice. There will be free pizza and great music provided by myself and Chuck Sipperly. Suggested donation of $5.
Not to mention, Corner Brewery's amazing Saturday night happy hour - with fresh-from-the-tap $2.50 half-liter and $5.00 liter beers!

We went. There were a lot of people there, but the music wasn't nearly as "Motown-y or soul-y" as I wished it would have been.
Ah well! Perhaps next time.
Or, maybe the Ann Arbor Soul Club themselves could do something at the Corner Brewery? Hrmmm.
