They've had a sign in their window for over a week now saying that they're closed due to "Technical Problems." Does anyone know the scoop?

They had a water pipe blow over the holidays and it sent over 20000 allons of water throughout the building. Needless to say, they had a slight clean up project when they got back.

Aha! So that's what happened.

We've been wanting some Dalat for the better part of two weeks now - I hope they get through this and that they reopen soon!

They were definitely popular with the "home disaster cleanup" trucks for a day or two there...

I've been a little worried every time I see the sign in the window - "The restaurant closed" always gives me little pangs of finality. But it sounds like it means the restaurant (is currently) closed, rather than the restaurant (has) closed? (oh please oh please oh please oh please.)

Just saw the open sign up in place of the "closed for technical problems" sign yesterday. Great to see Dalat and their great food back open again.
